Jakob and Caleb have finally come to a stage where they are able to interact and play with each other. Caleb is so fun! He is quick to Laugh and patient enough to tolerate some of Jakob's aggressive play.
This evening we were kneeling down for family prayer and Leif knelt Caleb down so he was eye level with all of us. He and Jakob started laughing at each other and we all had a great time. Jakob put an old Easter candy bucket in Caleb's hand and he started spazzing out as he tried to lift it to his mouth and stand (with Leif's help) at the same time. Ahhh, it was a good laugh and a good family moment. I'm so glad Jakob finally has a sibling he can play with!
I got out of the shower the other day and I found Jakob laying underneath the swing that I had strapped Caleb in. They were just chillin' enjoying each other's company. Jakob was singing songs to Caleb and giving him an extra push here and there.
These are the things I need to focus on!
A written journey. Begun by his mother and continued by Jakob. "Get a notebook, a journal that will last through all time, and maybe the angels may quote from it for eternity. Begin today and write in it your going and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements, and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies." - President Spencer W. Kimball
