Well, we have found a helpful solution to Jakob's sleeping struggles. Leaving the door open. He still wakes up occasionally with night tares. But that is normal for a three year old. Although, he just came out of his room for the second time tonight after laying him down. GRRR! This time the skin on his little toe was bothering him... We'll have to shut the door for a bit to remind him of the rule to stay in bed. He's not happy about that!
Oh the joys! He is now singing the alphabet through the door to us...
P.S. Jakob's moods have improved considerably the last couple of days as his sleep has improved. We have also been eating VERY healthy. His snacks have been whole wheat mini bagels, cherries, grapes, and string cheese. His potty treat is all natural cherry granola. This has to help too....
A written journey. Begun by his mother and continued by Jakob. "Get a notebook, a journal that will last through all time, and maybe the angels may quote from it for eternity. Begin today and write in it your going and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements, and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies." - President Spencer W. Kimball
