Hello everyone. Pappa is writing this one this time...
Jakob had an awesome 4th of July. We all went up to Uncle Erik's the day before. Uncle Erik began the day by getting the Alton fire truck out at 6am (utah time...so 5 am AZ time!) And going down every street in Alton. I think it took him a whole 45 secs... Just kidding.
Anyway, Erik made sure he drove right past the trailer we were sleeping in. Jakob was soooo tired he sleep right through the siren of the fire engine outside our door.
We then had a wonderful breakfast with Erik and family. We did our own "firemens breakfast". We cooked eggs, bacon, chorizo, pancakes, and more! All day we enjoyed games and yummy food at the park. That night we went to the Alton Fireworks show. It was actually almost as good as some of Kanabs! This was the first time Jakob really enjoyed the show. He started out nervous but then began pretending to be shooting missiles at the fireworks and making them blowup. From that point on he was fine. That night he actually enjoyed playing with a sparkler for the first time. He would try to right letters in the air.
We spent most the weekend up there and thouroghly enjoyed it. Jakob started getting used to the dogs...Kiafer, Rusty, Jozie, and the kitten Bell. Last night as he watch a movie Bell layed on him and next to him. Jakob thought that was kinda funny.
